Introduction
1S LSD is probably one of the best-known LSD derivatives that can be purchased in Germany and used for research. But why is that the case, even though many previous derivatives have already been banned? To understand this, we first have to take a look at the German legal situation:
German legal situation
There are three important legal texts that must be observed in the case of 1S LSD: Narcotics Act (BtMG), New Psychoactive Substances Act (NpSG) and Medicines Act (AMG).
-
Narcotics Act
The Narcotics Act lists specific substances that are illegal, but 1S LSD is not specifically mentioned there. -
New Psychoactive Substances Act
The New Psychoactive Substances Act prohibits entire groups of substances, including those that are similar to LSD. However, due to its changes at the molecular level, 1S LSD is considered a single substance, which therefore does not fall under the term "LSD". -
Medicines Act
The Medicines Act also does not apply to 1S LSD, as it is sold as a research chemical and not as a drug for oral use.
Why is 1S LSD legal in Germany?
If you look at the legal texts, you will immediately notice that 1S LSD is de facto not mentioned anywhere. In Germany, only substances or groups of substances that are mentioned in one of the legal texts mentioned are illegal. This enables us to sell 1S LSD through our store in order to be able to offer you and others high-quality research chemicals.
Possible legal changes in the future
Unfortunately, the German government is not a fan of LSD derivatives, as we have painfully discovered in the past. Both the direct predecessor in our store, "1D LSD", and other derivatives have already been banned through amendments to the NpSG. So we have to expect that sooner or later a ban on the sale and production of 1S LSD will also be imposed, although fortunately this will take some time. So no need to worry, we will be here for you for a long time to come!
Conclusion
It is a kind of cat and mouse game between the German state and the producers or suppliers of LSD derivatives. Many derivatives have already been banned in the past, new derivatives have come onto the market and the legal texts have been amended again. There is currently no amendment to the NpSG with regard to a 1S LSD ban. If this becomes an issue in the future, we will be happy to inform you by email so that you are always up to date.
